PURCHASES & SHIPPING TERMS

Thank you for shopping with Julian Design online. We would like you to read our purchase and shipping terms carefully to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights when purchasing products from our website.

By purchasing from us you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

 

PURCHASES / ORDERS

You must provide accurate and complete details at the time of making your purchase, you may be required to provide additional details upon our request to ensure the accuracy of your order.

You must enter the correct delivery address and delivery instructions at the time of placing your order. If you enter an incorrect address Julian Design will need to re-send the order to the correct address at your own expense.

Once an order is placed, if you choose to cancel that order within 48 hours then a refund will be made to you less a handling fee.
If you cancel an order after 48 hours then Julian design will issue you with a credit voucher valid for a period of 6 (six) months from date of purchase to make an alternate purchase from our product offering.

 

PRODUCT INFORMATION

To ensure a most accurate image of each product displayed we photograph each product on a tailored dress maker dummy and in some cases on a model so customers can accurately assess the item. Julian Design cannot be held liable for changes in colour perception due to screen settings on individual computers or devices when shopping with us. If you require any additional information on a product, please contact us via the “Contact us” page.

 

PURCHASE PRICE

All prices quoted on the website are set to South African rand. Julian Design accepts payment via the PayFast facility or via electronic fund transactions into our banking account, funds paid via eft will first be cleared into our banking account prior to delivery.

We reserve the right to vary prices displayed on our website from time to time and without notice to you.

 

PAYMENT

Julian Design accepts payment via credit card (Visa / Mastercard and Amex) via PayFast facility or via electronic fund transfer into our banking account, funds paid via EFT will first be cleared into our banking account prior to delivery.

After you make payment for your order, we will email you an invoice, which confirms receipt of your order.

 

SECURITY

We recognise the importance of protection and safety of information relating to your payment. Therefore, we provide you with a very safe and stress-free online shopping experience.

We use the highest strength Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to transmit your credit card details. This means absolute security and privacy. Our security certificate is provided to us by XNeelo who is one of the leading providers of online security.

Please note we do not store your credit card details at any time so consumer confidence and satisfaction, is assured.

 

CONSENT TO MARKETING MATERIAL

We provide consent at check out to subscribe to our newsletter. By leaving the box ticked you consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the Julian Design business, including information relating to products, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. Of course, you may at any time, unsubscribe from receiving updates from us. Simply click ‘unsubscribe’ within one of our mail-outs.

 

PROCESSING OF ORDERS

We process purchases on business days, which are Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays in South Africa. Orders are processed by 2pm each business day, so please keep this in mind when purchasing something that is required ASAP.

Once an order is successfully placed, you will receive an invoice by email confirming that your order is being processed. Once payment is cleared into our bank account then the garment is manufactured according to your order. Manufacture takes 4 working days and then the garment is dispatched via courier to you.

 

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Julian Design may cancel your order if for any reason we are unable to provide you with the products subject to your order. We will contact you should this occur. Please note we use reputable 3rd party courier delivery services.

 

EXCHANGES / RETURNS

Please take care when trying on clothes not to damage or stain them. If your return does not meet the following criteria it will be sent back to you.

All products returned must be
– Unworn and unwashed
– Tags attached
– Free from make-up and fake tan
– Free from any scent of deodorant, perfume or washing powder.

When placing an order please refer to our size chart and figure shape silhouette drawings for us to determine if the garment is suitable for you. Please supply us with your actual measurements if possible as this will ensure that the garment is made according to the measurements supplied.
